Alhagi is a native of Medina in Niumi.
He graduated from Muslim High School in 1989 and Gambia
Hotel School (Front Office) in 1992. BA in Computer Information Systems class of 2004 Davenport University.
A great lover of sports, Alhagi was very instrumental in
the launching of the annual soccer camp for Gambian kids
in Detroit two years ago. He has been a regular in the
Detroit United soccer team. When the team sometimes appears
destined for defeat, Alhagi has usually come to the rescue
with his eleventh hour goals. His free kicks have the guided
precision of a stinger missile. Alhagi is an exemplary
to us all The Detroit United Soccer Club.
He is currently appointed as the Head Foofball
coach of the Nigerian Soccer team in detroit. He said he
is ready for the jump from coaching the U-10 team to coaching
in the First Division of the Metro Detroit Soccer League.
Alhagi is a Network Administrator with TechTeam
Global. He is currently on assignment at Ford Motor Company
in Dearborn, Michigan.
His term as the Sports and Youth development
Secretary expires at the end of June 2007.
